Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy release position profile in search for new executive director

The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy has released the position profile in its search for a new executive director.

A press release stated, “This person will take the helm of one of the best park systems in the world; the first of its kind in the United States and designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. This role offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to elevate the conservancy and its work for the betterment of millions of visitors each year and ensure that the historic parks, parkways and circles under its care thrive.”

Reporting directly to the board, the executive director will work in partnership with the board, staff, and key partners to develop a strategic approach to achieve the organization’s goals of impact and advance its mission.

The conservancy has engaged Koya Partners, an executive search firm that specializes in leading mission-driven searches at the senior level, to conduct a search for this position.
