'YuleTIDE Days' at Aquarium of Niagara

The Aquarium of Niagara announced “YuleTIDE Days.” Special programming will be offered from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, through Saturday, Dec. 31, at 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls.

Tickets are $19.95 for adults; $17.95 for seniors (60-plus); $14.95 for children ages 3-12; and free for youth ages 2 and younger. Patrons can receive $5 off admission with the donation of a new winter hat, scarf or gloves/mittens to be donated to Pinnacle Community Services (walkup ticket purchases only).

A press release said, “The Aquarium is excited to offer this festive, family-friendly, post-holiday promotion for the fourth year in a row! With more special programming than ever before, this year’s celebrations are sure to be the best yet.”

Special activities include: Festive-themed animal feedings, presentations and shows; snowshoeing and winter birding demonstrations; arts and crafts; special guests from noon to 3 p.m. (Monday: face painting, Tuesday: juggler Nels Ross and Hawk Creek Wildlife Center, Wednesday: Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum and Siberian Husky Club of the Niagara Frontier, Thursday: airbrush tattoos, Friday: performers Richie Derwald and Ross, Saturday: meet-and-greet with the Snow Queen, Snow Princess and Reindeer Prince from “Disney’s Frozen”; and a special “Noon Year’s Eve” sea lion high ball demonstration Saturday, Dec. 31.
