During the week of Oct. 31, 2022, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” stood as one of only two daytime talk shows – network or syndicated – to grow week to week in households (plus 7% – 1.6 rating vs. 1.5 rating).
“Live’s Multiverse Halloween: The Best in The Universe” broadcast (on 10/31/22) ranked as the show’s strongest telecast on any day in total viewers (2.737 million) and matched its highest-rated in households (1.8 rating) since its post-Oscars special in March.
This year’s Halloween broadcast topped the prior year’s special (on 10/29/21) in total viewers (by 1% – 2.737 million vs. 2.708 million) and held even year to year in households (1.8 rating).
With its Halloween telecast, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” was the No. 1 daytime talk show on Oct. 31 across all key Nielsen measures: households (1.8 rating), total viewers (2.737 million) and women 25-54 (0.7 rating).
Ranking as the No. 1 syndicated talk show for the eighth consecutive week across all key Nielsen measures, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” outdelivered runner-up “Dr. Phil” by 23% in households (1.6 rating vs. 1.3 rating), by 12% with total viewers (2.271 million vs. 1.904 million) and by 20% among women 25-54 (0.6 rating vs. 0.5 rating). In fact, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” has ranked as the No. 1 syndicated talk show in households for the 24th week in a row (including eight weeks of ties).
In addition, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” was the No. 1 daytime talk show for the 43rd week running (including 15 weeks of ties) among women 25-54 (0.6 rating), while also ranking No. 1 this week in households (1.6 rating) and total viewers (2.271 million).
On average for the 2022-23 season, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” is the No. 1 syndicated talk show across all key Nielsen measures, leading second-place “Dr. Phil” by 7% in households (1.5 rating vs. 1.4 rating), by 12% in total viewers (2.205 million vs. 1.970 million) and by 20% with women 25-54 (0.6 rating vs. 0.5 rating). In fact, “Live” is posting its biggest-ever advantages over “Dr. Phil” this season in households (plus 7%) and total viewers (up 12%).
