Program held in conjunction with annual meeting & convention in the Cataract City

The National School Transportation Association (NSTA) will host an electric school bus street fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24, on Old Falls Street in downtown Niagara Falls (between First and Third streets, next to the Sheraton). This event is sponsored by World Resources Institute (WRI) and includes participants Blue Bird, BYD Motors, IC Bus, Lion Electric and Micro Bird.

As part of the 2022 NSTA annual meeting and convention, this outdoor event
features brand-new electric school buses from NSTA original equipment manufacturers
members, as well as exhibits from NSTA vendor partner members who support
electric school buses. Organizers said this program presents an opportunity for NSTA members and the public to familiarize themselves with all facets of electric school buses.

NSTA annual meeting and convention attendees, sponsors, meeting guests and the general public are invited to attend. There is no cost to do so. The fair features lunch and dessert food trucks for attendees presented in a family-friendly environment. OEMs may allow ridealongs after the event has concluded.

A press release stated, “NSTA is the leading resource for school bus transportation solutions and the voice for private contractors for over 55 years. We are a membership organization for school bus contract-operators engaged primarily in transporting students to and from school and school-related activities.
