‘New Wine Flow’ is his latest single and lyric video; artist currently on tour with Maverick City Music & Kirk Franklin

Singer, songwriter and performing artist Ryan Ellis recently announced the release of his self-titled album is set for July 15 (Provident Label Group/Sony Music). After a special announcement from Ellis' son, which can be viewed here, the album pre-order is live. The anticipated project features the six songs from his 2021 EP, “Episode I,” along with seven additional tracks, including "New Wine Flow" (click here), which released last Friday accompanied by a lyric video.

The debut of his upcoming album debut also features Ellis' hit single "Heart Of The Father," which peaked at No. 2 at Mediabase and has received more than 34 million streams to date. He shares another previously released song from the project, "Lean On The Lord," live on the “Kingdom Tour: Maverick City Music x Kirk Franklin,” where Ellis performs with the group Housefires. Later this summer, he will head out opening for UNITED.

With songwriting talents that have allowed him to pen songs for Matt Redman, Natalie Grant, Meredith Andrews, Steven Malcolm, and Housefires, California-based worship artist and songwriter Ellis also wrote Chris Tomlin's "Resurrection Power," earning him a GMA Dove Award nomination and ASCAP's "Most Performed Song" award in 2018.

Accolade, however, is not the fuel of Ellis’s fire. He shares, “I’m a devoted husband and father first. I have a deep love for Jesus and the way that songs draw people in to experience him, to be inspired and encouraged, and ultimately to let them know that they are loved. Music is the language that everyone can understand, and it’s all I know how to do.”
