Cooper Sign Company recently was chosen as the supplier for wayfinding signage, bronze medallions, dimensional letters and interior signage for Western New York National Cemetery, a 269-acre Department of Veteran Affairs national cemetery in Genesee County. The new national cemetery will serve the burial needs of more than 96,000 veterans for the next 70 years and will be the seventh VA national cemetery in New York.

The 99-year-old Cooper Sign Company, based in Niagara Falls, is a woman-owned business enterprise with a long history of military service. Cooper family members have served in the U.S. military dating back to the American Revolution.

“Cooper Sign Company is very grateful for the opportunity to work on this project where our American heroes are laid to rest,” CEO Jennifer Masters-Cooper said. “Each burial has the story of a veteran where both the veteran and the family have sacrificed for our freedom.”

For almost 100 years, Cooper Sign Company has been providing quality, high-impact signs to customers not only in Western New York, but businesses, municipalities, schools, universities and state agencies across New York.
