Hosts The Museum of the Bible &TBN special series

Five-time Grammy-nominated artist Matthew West launches "The Matthew West Podcast" today on best-selling author, speaker and popular podcaster Annie F. Downs' That Sounds Fun Network. "The Matthew West Podcast" joins six other podcasts on the That Sounds Fun Network, which launched in May and already touts millions of downloads.

West debuts three episodes available now with a new episode releasing weekly. Click here to listen to the trio of episodes that feature Casting Crowns' frontman Mark Hall, mother and daughter Korie Robertson and Sadie Robertson Huff, and a special Q&A episode with West that will be a monthly feature.

"After working behind the scenes for several months, I’m excited to finally release my very own podcast," West said. "My whole music career has revolved around the power of story. I’ve always been passionate about telling the stories of peoples’ lives through my music, because I’ve seen the impact it can make. Now, I’m carrying that same passion for stories to the podcast format. Each interview will feature a unique conversation with some of my favorite artists, athletes, authors and influencers whose stories have impacted my life. People are going to be inspired and challenged by the stories of folks like Sadie and Korie Robertson, Mark Hall from Casting Crowns and many more. I can’t wait for the world to hear these stories!"

Each week, West will welcome artists, authors, professional athletes and more to get to the heart of their stories as well as share the stories from those that have inspired his heartfelt music, and conclude with some encouraging words from his dad, Pastor Joe West.

"Every episode will also have a musical component called 'Songs From The Story House' where I get to share the stories of people’s lives who have inspired the songs," West said. "From the inspiring story of a 14-year-old walking miracle named William, to the incredible story of Renee, who lost her daughter in a drunk driving accident but discovered the life-changing gift of forgiveness, I believe these stories are going to challenge listeners to see the power in their own stories. So here we go! This is gonna be fun."

Tonight he is hosting "West Fest," live from Nashville. Since most festivals are canceled this summer, he wanted to bring his fans their own festival. "West Fest" will feature his band performing the set list voted by ticketholders, plus special appearances by Leanna Crawford and Annie F. Downs. The evening is sponsored by Compassion International. Fans can also catch West hosting the two-part series, "The Truth I'm Standing On," a concert featuring high-profile recording artists such as Zach Williams, for KING & COUNTRY, Mandisa, CeCe Winans, Matt Maher, Newsboys, Danny Gokey, Christine D'Clario and Crawford, sharing songs about healing during this difficult time for the country and world. The two-part event is presented by the Museum of the Bible and Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Part one aired last week, and part two will air Friday, Aug. 7, at 8, 9, 10 and 11 p.m. ET. The concert may also be watched via TBN’s Facebook live stream and via the TBN mobile app. Christian music broadcaster K-LOVE will stream Friday’s concert on its website and Facebook page.

Earlier this year, West released his new studio album, “Brand New,” which already produced the multiple-week No. 1 single, "The God Who Stays." The official music video has impacted his audience being viewed more than 8 million times. During the COVID-19 pandemic, West has continued to host his weekly “Quarantine Quiet Time” from his home studio with his family, and he released two new songs that went viral: “Quarantine Life” and “Take Heart." His new radio single, "Truth Be Told," has an impactful message that is told in the recently released music video (see below). West also co-wrote Jeremy Camp's multi-week No. 1 song, "Keep Me In The Moment."
