Quickly putting their groundbreaking 2018 behind them, the world’s top-selling musical duo, Daryl Hall and John Oates, will continue to achieve career milestones in 2019 when performing its first-ever concerts in Argentina, Chile and Brazil on June 6 (Lunas Park Stadium, Buenos Aires), June 8 (Movistar Arena, Santiago) and June 11 (Espaco das Americas, Sao Paulo).

Oates said, “I have not been back in Argentina since the late ‘80s when I was skiing in Las Lenas. Really looking forward to returning there to perform.” He has never been to either Chile or Brazil, even as a tourist. “I am really excited to see these two great cities and play for our fans there.”

The three South American dates follow March shows as part of the duo’s residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; a U.K. tour to Birmingham (Resorts World, April 24), London (Wembley SSE Arena, April 26), Manchester (Manchester Arena, April 28) and Glasgow (SSE Hydro Arena, May 1); and two dates in Germany – in Dortmund (Westfalenhalle, May 3) and Hamburg Barclaycard Arena, May 6). The dates in Germany are their first since the ‘80s.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s first trip to South America comes on the heels of last year’s tour with Train, selling out at such legendary venues as Madison Square Garden and The Fabulous Forum.

From the mid-'70s to the mid-'80s, Daryl Hall and John Oates scored six No. 1 singles, including "Rich Girl" (also No. 1 at R&B), "Kiss on My List," "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do) (also No. 1 R&B), "Maneater" and "Out of Touch." The twosome registered six consecutive multi-Platinum albums: “Bigger Than Both of Us,” “Voices,” “Private Eyes,” “H2O,” “Rock N Soul, Part I” and “Big Bam Boom.” Hall and Oates would also produce an additional five Top 10 singles: "Sara Smile," "One on One," "You Make My Dreams," "Say It Isn't So" and "Method of Modern Love." In 1987, the RIAA recognized them as the top-selling duo in pop music history – a record still held today.
