Amy Adams named recipient of 2018 Baby2Baby 'Giving Tree Award'

Adams will be honored for her commitment to children living in poverty at 2018 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell Nov. 10 in Los Angeles
Today, the celebrated nonprofit Baby2Baby announced Amy Adams as the recipient of the "Giving Tree Award" at the 2018 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell, which will be held on Nov. 10 at 3Labs in Los Angeles.
As part of its mission to provide children living in poverty with all the basic necessities that every child deserves, Baby2Baby honors a mother each year who utilizes her position in the public eye to advocate on behalf of the children the organization serves. Past honorees of the "Giving Tree Award" include Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow.
"We are thrilled to announce Amy Adams as our 2018 honoree at this year's gala," said Baby2Baby co-presidents Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein. "Amy's tireless dedication to children in need is an inspiration, and we're proud to honor her on our most important night of the year."
Over the past seven years, Patricof and Weinstein have led Baby2Baby through tremendous growth serving hundreds of thousands of low-income children every year across the country. To date, Baby2Baby has distributed more than 50 million items to children living in poverty. The organization's annual gala raises millions of dollars to support its mission.
Sponsors for the 2018 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell include title sponsor Paul Mitchell, Nordstrom, Volvo Cars and Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors Foundation.
The culinary-rich event is curated by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Animal, Son of a Gun, Jon & Vinny's & Trois Familia. Participating restaurants include Craig's, Felix, Jon & Vinny's, Majordomo, McConnell's Fine Ice Creams, Milk Bar, République, Rossoblu, Shake Shack, Trois Mec and Wexler's Deli. Additionally, the duo will also host the official "Jon & Vinny's Afterparty."
The event and afterparty also feature custom cocktails from Marc Rose and Med Abrous' critically acclaimed hotspot, The Spare Room. The event continues to be designed and produced by Los Angeles' top event producer, Yifat Oren of Oren Co., and her team.
