Five-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles (four gold and one bronze in Rio) competes for a record fifth women's U.S. all-around title this week as NBC Sports Group kicks off live coverage of the 2018 U.S. Gymnastics Championships from Boston.
Coverage begins this Thursday, with the men's competition at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, continuing with the live women's competition this Friday at 8 p.m. on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Live coverage of the men's event resumes this Saturday, at 3:30 p.m. on Olympic Channel, continuing at 4:30 p.m. on NBC. On Sunday, coverage culminates with live NBC primetime coverage of the women's competition at 8 p.m.
Coverage will be streamed live on NBCSports.com, NBC Sports app, OlympicChannel.com and the Olympic Channel app.
After winning the U.S. Classic last month in her first competition since the Rio Games, Biles aims for a record fifth women's U.S. all-around title. Reigning world all-around champion Morgan Hurd, defending U.S. all-around champion Ragan Smith, and Riley McCusker, who was second at the U.S. Classic and third in the all-around at last year's nationals, are all expected to compete. Four-time U.S. all-around champion Sam Mikulak and 2017 U.S. all-around champion Yul Moldauer are expected to highlight the men's field.
Terry Gannon calls the action in Boston, joined by two-time Olympic medalist Tim Daggett, 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin and reporter Andrea Joyce.
Coverage of Olympic sports on NBC Sports Group platforms is a presentation of the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.
