Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union has announced the promotion of Mary E. Scheib to president/COO.
Scheib started her career at Cornerstone in 1990 and has held several positions at the credit union. She served as vice president of operations prior to being named chief operating officer in 2017.
"Mary has taken full ownership for the operations of our organization" said Eric Hepkins, CEO. "She has also played a critical role in developing strategy, budget, and team involvement. I am thrilled to have Mary on our team and I wish her continued success."
A Barker native, Scheib attended Barker High School and went on to attend Elmira College graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
"I am honored to have spent the last 28 years with Cornerstone, watching our organization change and grow," Scheib said. "I look forward to working closely with our board, our CEO and our entire staff as we move the credit union into the future."
