Bowyer & Bow/Capitol Christian Music Group newcomer Pat Barrett's full-length, self-titled debut is available now.
This singer/songwriter and worship leader already has a celebrated 15-year career, but this is the first time he's released anything as a solo artist. Barrett is the flagship artist on Grammy Award winner Chris Tomlin's imprint record label, Bowyer & Bow, in partnership with Capitol Christian Music Group.
The album topped the Christian iTunes album chart when it released. In addition to the new album, Barrett's first single, "The Way (New Horizon)," is No. 12 on the Christian airplay chart and has 4.8 million in audience. He was also featured last week on "All Access' " "10 Questions." His song, "Better," was featured on Spotify's "New Music Friday" list this week, and "The Way (New Horizon)" is on the WorshipNow and top Christian lists.
Barrett will head out on Tomlin's "Good Good Father" Tour in Canada this fall, which follows his spring run performing on the "Worship Night in America" Tour.
Best known as one of the primary singer/songwriter for the band Housefires, Barrett is a worship leader at Grace Midtown in Atlanta. With songs such as "Build My Life" and "Good Good Father," Barrett is a key songwriter and artist in the broader worship community. Barrett also partnered with Tomlin to write the children's book "Good Good Father," which, to date, has sold more than 200,000 copies.
