Buffalo Sabres sign forward Andrew Oglevie

The Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday announced the team signed forward Andrew Oglevie to a three-year, entry-level contract.
As a junior at the University of Notre Dame in 2017-18, Oglevie (age 23, 5'10", 180 pounds) served as an alternate captain and ranked second among Fighting Irish skaters with 39 points (15 goals, 24 assists), leading the team in goals for the second straight year. He finished his collegiate career by earning a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team after leading all skaters with 7 points (3/4) in four games in the tournament.
A native of Fullerton, California, Oglevie totaled 89 points (41/48) in 107 regular-season games with Notre Dame. He was named as the team's most improved player following a sophomore season in which he posted career-high totals in goals (21) and points (41).
