All 11 Wolverines score in big win

Niagara Falls has been a force to be reckon with in the Niagara Frontier League for years. Tonight, the Wolverines showed Niagara-Wheatfield just how dominant their team is.
The Wolverines defeated the Falcons, 109-35, at Niagara-Wheatfield High School.
Niagara Falls isn't known for their jump shooting, but tonight the team shot the lights out. The Wolverines made 12 3-pointers in the rout, six being from sharp shooter Josiah Harris who had 18 points on the night.
The high scorer of the night, Quran Dubois, got started early, as he sank the first two buckets of the game for the Falls.
The Wolverines jumped out to a 12-0 lead to start, very similar to the first time the two teams played. With the score 12-3, the Falls closed the quarter with a 21-6 run. Dubois and Syquan Ralands had 7 points in the first quarter to lead the way, and Taylor Sanders finished the quarter with three straight layups, giving him 6 points in the quarter. The Wolverines led after one, 33-9.
The Falls continued to pour it on in the second quarter. Dubois added 8 more points in the quarter, while Harris drained two 3-pointers to give him 6 points in the quarter. At halftime the Falls led, 60-26.
In the third quarter, eighth-grader Roddy Gayle showed off his leaping ability by hammering down two dunks, and just missing on an alley-oop. Gayle finished with 16 points on the night.
At the end of the third quarter, the Wolverines led, 85-31.
In the fourth quarter, Joey Palka scored all 8 of his points, and Naim Bradley drilled a 3-pointer to get the Wolverines over 100 points. Bradley also finished with 8 points.
As the final horn sounded, the Wolverines defeated the Falcons, 109-35.
Although the Falcons were defeated, the team showed bright signs at certain parts of the game. The 3-point shooting for the team was better than it has been, and players seemed to continue fighting, regardless of what the scoreboard said. Anthony Ruffino led the way with 10 points, while Davon Ware added 9 points on three 3-pointers. The Falcons next game is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday versus North Tonawanda.
For the Wolverines, all 11 players scored, four of them being in double figures. Dubois finished with a game-high 21 points, including three 3-pointers. Ralands had 13, and Marquise Miller, Sanders and eighth-grader Willie Lightfoot had 6 points. Also scoring for the Falls was Moran Montgomery with 4 and Tazaun Rose with 3.
The win is also the second in as many days for the Wolverines, as they defeated St. Michaels from Toronto, 69-53.
The Wolverines remain undefeated in NFL play at 8-0, while their overall record is now 10-3. The team is back in action Saturday afternoon, as they travel to Rochester to battle Section V's Aquinas Institute. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
