Award-winning police procedural to air on FOX Television stations
NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution has sold "Chicago P.D." to FOX Television Stations; it was announced by Sean O'Boyle, executive vice president of syndication sales, NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution. The show will air weekdays in national syndication beginning in September 2018.
The hit, one-hour dramatic television series is Dick Wolf's second installment in the Chicago franchise. "Chicago P.D." is a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department's elite intelligence unit. The unit combats the city's most heinous offenses: organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond.
"Chicago P.D." is set to air weekdays on local broadcast stations, including FOX-owned and operated stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, D.C., Houston, Phoenix, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Orlando and Charlotte, among others.

" 'Chicago P.D.' is a premiere procedural and is a unique opportunity for local broadcasters, as it is the only off-net scripted hour available to play as a Monday-Friday strip. Det. Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and his intelligence team have always considered rules to be guidelines more than actual laws.
