Morinello commends GM investment

Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello thanked General Motors for its $3.5 million investment in its operations facility located in Lockport. This investment for future thermal products will ensure the continued employment of residents from the 145th Assembly District and the facility's surrounding area.
"I commend General Motors and the trust it has placed in the hard-working residents of our area," Morinello said. "The $3.5 million invested in the expansion of the Lockport operations will keep employment options available in Western New York and allow the residents of our district the opportunity to provide for their families."
The investment announced by General Motors on Monday is projected to retain approximately 32 employees.
