The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team recalled forward Justin Baileyfrom the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Bailey (age 21, 6'3", 214 pounds) joins the Sabres for his first recall of the season after appearing in his first eight NHL games for Buffalo last season. With 45 points (20 goals, 25 assists) for the Americans in his first professional season in 2015-16, the Buffalo native tallied more goals, assists and points for Rochester than any other skater.
The Sabres' second-round pick (52nd overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft, Bailey has totaled four points (3/1) in seven games with the Americans so far this season.
