Al Michaels, Dan Patrick, Rebecca Lowe, Liam McHugh and Carolyn Manno will serve as hosts for NBC Olympics coverage of the Games of the XXXI Olympiad from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They join Bob Costas, NBC's primetime Olympics host for the 11th time, and Ryan Seacrest, who will host NBC's late night show from Rio.

"This is flat-out the strongest group of hosts we've ever had at an Olympics, and they will expertly guide viewers through the events, telling the stories of the athletes and providing the right context at every turn," said Jim Bell, executive producer, NBC Olympics.

Michaels will serve as a host during NBC's daytime coverage on weekdays and weekends. Patrick and Lowe will work across both NBC and NBCSN. McHugh and Manno will handle NBCSN hosting duties. NBC's daytime coverage will originate from Rio de Janeiro's iconic Copacabana Beach.

Michaels will work his fourth consecutive Games for NBC Olympics after serving in a similar hosting capacity in Sochi (2014), London (2012) and Vancouver (2010). One of the most renowned commentators of all-time, Michaels' legendary "Do you believe in miracles? Yes!" call at the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics stands as one of the most famous calls in sports history. This fall, he begins his 11th season as the play-by-play voice of NBC's "Sunday Night Football," television's No. 1 primetime show for five consecutive TV seasons - a feat accomplished by only three other programs since 1950.

Patrick handles his fourth NBC Olympics assignment. He previously hosted daytime coverage at the Sochi Games and the London Olympics, and served as a reporter in Vancouver. Patrick is co-host of NBC's "Football Night in America," the most-watched weekly studio show in sports, and hosts "The Dan Patrick Show," a daily, nationally syndicated radio program simulcast as a television program on NBCSN, and streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Patrick is also host of "Sports Jeopardy!", the 30-minute sports quiz show originally airing on Crackle, but premiering on NBCSN on Saturday, Aug. 6.

Lowe serves as an NBC Olympics host for the second time, after making her debut in Sochi. The 2016-17 season will mark Lowe's fourth season as host of NBC Sports Group's exclusive Premier League coverage in the U.S., including "Premier League Live," NBC Sports Group's live pre- and post-match shows from NBC Sports Group's International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Connecticut. She has also interviewed high-profile subjects for NBC's "Premier League Download" program, including legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

McHugh returns to NBC Olympics in a hosting role for the third time. He previously was host of the Olympic hockey coverage at the Sochi Games and served as an anchor of NBCSN's coverage in London. McHugh is the host of "NHL Live," NBCSN's pre- and post-game studio shows throughout the regular-season, Stanley Cup Playoffs and Stanley Cup Final. He also hosts NBC's Notre Dame football coverage, including "Countdown to Kickoff," NBCSN's pre-game show.

Manno makes her NBC Olympics hosting debut in Rio. She previously served as a freestyle skiing reporter at the Sochi Games, and was a sports desk reporter at the London Olympics. Manno also worked as a studio host during the 2014 Sochi Paralympics. Among her wide-ranging NBC Sports Group assignments, Manno is a reporter for NBC's "Football Night In America" and Triple Crown horse racing, a host of NBCSN's NASCAR America, and an anchor for NBC's sports update desk.

The opening ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics is Friday, Aug. 5, on NBC.
