Heart of Niagara 'Yappy Hour' at Buffalo Wild Wings Niagara Falls

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue invites the public to attend a "Yappy Hour" at Buffalo Wild Wings, 1594 Military Road, Niagara Falls, from 3-8 p.m. Friday, April 22. Proceeds from this creative fundraiser, which include baskets, will support the continued work of the rescue and help offset construction costs of its newly acquired building, which still under renovation.

Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the adoption process, animal care, volunteering and upcoming events. Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10 percent of a patron's bill from 11 a.m. until close (with presentation of a donation flier). Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, volunteers have adopted out about 400 animals. HON operates solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.

Donations of Science Diet dog food, Purina One dog food, paper towels, blankets and comforters are badly needed and will be gratefully accepted.
