Voting continues for "America's Choice"

The Miss America Organization, dick clark productions and ABC announced recording superstar Nick Jonas will serve as the official music curator for the 2016 Miss America Competition. As music curator, Jonas will personally select the music that will accompany the swimsuit and evening gown competitions. He will also provide commentary throughout the evening on his music selections and the thought process behind each song.

Jonas joins previously announced host Chris Harrison and celebrity judges Brett Eldredge, Taya Kyle, Kevin O'Leary, Amy Purdy and Zendaya. Additional talent and judges, including Harrison's co-host for the 2016 Miss America Competition, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Miss America Competition returns to Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on Sunday, Sept. 13 (9 p.m. ET), on the ABC Television Network. The evening will be filled with glitz and glam as 52 women compete for the coveted crown and scholarship.

Jonas introduced himself as a fully formed solo artist on his hit self-titled debut, released in November. The critically acclaimed album includes double-platinum smash single and No. 1 U.S. radio hit, "Jealous," and his sultry second chart-climbing U.S. radio single "Chains."

Voting for "America's Choice" continues through 11:59 p.m. ET Sept. 10. For the first time in Miss America history, fans have the opportunity to cast their vote entirely on social media for "America's Choice." The winner will move forward to the top 15 in the competition. Fans can vote on both Facebook and Twitter by posting a status and/or tweet with the name of the state they are voting for and the hashtag #MissAmericaVote.
