Nick Fradiani is crowned the "American Idol" champion

"American Idol XIV" came to a conclusion Wednesday as Nick Fradiani was crowned the winner during the live two-hour season finale on FOX. Fradiani, 29, from Guilford, Connecticut, received the most votes to defeat Clark Beckham.

Fradiani capped his coronation on the finale by singing "Beautiful Life," which is available for download exclusively on americanidol.com and iTunes.

As "American Idol" now heads into its 15th - and final - season, hopefuls across the country looking to become a part of show history have one more chance to do so. And it begins in Denver, with auditions Friday, July 10, followed by Savannah, Georgia, on Wednesday, July 22; Philadelphia Sunday, Aug. 2; Little Rock, Arkansas, Saturday, Aug. 8; and San Francisco, date TBA.

In addition, the audition bus tour will be stopping in Seattle (June 18); Providence, Rhode Island (June 18); Baltimore (June 20); San Diego (June 22); Pittsburgh (June 22); Tucson, Arizona (June 24); Indianapolis (June 25); Santa Fe, New Mexico (June 26); Athens, Georgia (June 28); Tulsa, Oklahoma (June 29) and Oxford, Mississippi (June 20). On Tuesday night's final performance show, Fradiani and runner-up Beckham each sang three songs. Fradiani performed "Bright Lights," "I Won't Give Up" and "Beautiful Life"; Beckham sang "Georgia On My Mind," "Ain't No Sunshine" and "Champion."

Fradiani is the 14th finalist to win the coveted "American Idol" title. He joins past winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze, Scott McCreery, Phillip Phillips, Candace Glover and Caleb Johnson.

The "American Idol Live!" U.S. concert tour begins Tuesday, July 7, in Clearwater, Florida, and stops in major cities, including New York, Chicago, Houston and Nashville before wrapping in Riverside, California, Friday, Aug. 28. Details can be found at americanIdol.com/tour.
