On Friday, Marvel Television introduced fans to their first live action television epic with their new ABC series, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," featuring a panel with executive producers Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen and Jeffrey Bell; castmates Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson), Brett Dalton (Agent Grant Ward), Ming-Na Wen (Agent Melinda May), Iain De Caestecker (Agent Leo Fitz), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agent Jemma Simmons), Chloe Bennet (Skye), as well as Marvel's head of television and series executive producer, Jeph Loeb.
The show will be spotlighted at the Marvel Entertainment Booth on the Convention Center floor throughout the entire weekend, with special surprises to be announced.
The first surprise came with the announcement during the panel that Cobie Smulders ("Marvel's The Avengers") will guest star and reprise her role as Agent Maria Hill in the pilot episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," set to premiere this fall on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
