Dallas Children's Theater On Tour presents "The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs!"

The acclaimed Dallas Children's Theater will bring its national touring production of "The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs!" to the Artpark Mainstage Theater in Lewiston on May 22, 2013. Performances will be presented at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are just $6 if purchased before Jan. 1, and $7 after that date.

Based on the popular book by John Scieska and Lane Smith ("The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales"), the play begins where the book leaves off. Alexander T. Wolf, a.k.a. "Big Bad," finally gets to tell his side of the story and you, the audience, determine the ending of the play in this rock hip-hop-ity musical that will blow the hair off your chinny, chin chin!

Guest Director K. Doug Miller brings his talent and vision to this courtroom dramedy, which also carries valuable life lessons. Children will see that things are not always what they seem, and that everyone deserves a fair chance in life - even in "Piggsylvania."

Enjoyed by children ages 5 and up, families and school groups (recommended for grades K to 5), all will get to hear eyewitness statements and form a jury to decide Al Wolf's fate. A downloadable study guide is available at www.artpark.net, and will serve as a handy and fun precursor to the show.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9. Tickets for the 10 a.m. performance can be purchased by calling the Artpark Box Office at 716-754-4375. Tickets for the 7 p.m. performance can be purchased by calling 716-754-4375 and 1-888-223-6000 or online at www.artpark.net and www.tickets.com.
