This August, Kingdom Bound, the annual Christian festival at Darien Lake, welcomes former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly and his wife, Jill. They will be speaking at the festival's Worship Tent on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at noon.

In addition, many other speakers will offer seminars during the four-day festival on relevant topics such as dating, relationships, divorce, sexuality, finances, college, disabilities, social justice, art, the quest for beauty, spirituality and more.

Besides seminars, Kingdom Bound will also feature more than 40 music concerts, a live talent search competition, live drama presentations, "Bibleman," a kids' tent, and late-night activities for those staying at the park's campgrounds.

Kingdom Bound, now in its 24th year, takes place Aug. 1-4 at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort in Darien Center - halfway between Buffalo and Rochester. The festival typically welcomes about 45,000 visitors from all over the U.S. and Canada, many of whom stay at the park's campgrounds in tents or RVs, or at the park's hotel, for the duration of the event.

"The energetic Newsboys, who for years ended the festival, will instead kick things off at the start on Sunday night; adult contemporary favorite MercyMe headlines Monday night; hard rockers Skillet will play Tuesday night; and tobyMac brings his unique blend of pop, rock and hip-hop on Wednesday night to close the festival," says Mark Weber, of BuffaloChristian.com, which features an hour-by-hour article called "4 days of Kingdom Bound 2010" giving people an idea of all there is to do during the course of the festival.

Kingdom Bound believes in ministering the "Gospel through the arts," and features a wide variety of Christian music to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds on three main stages. Artists including Paul Baloche, Matt Redman, Superchick, Newworldson, BarlowGirl, Fireflight, Disciple, Kutless, Blue Tree, DecembeRadio, Robin Mark and Kathryn Scott are scheduled to play this year's festival.

Kingdom Bound 2010 event or day pass tickets are now on sale, and include admission to the majority of Darien Lake's amusement park rides. Call 800-461-4485 or visit www.kingdombound.org for more information, tickets or reservations.

Note: All artists and speakers are subject to change without notice.
