Comedy & country added to Fallsview Casino Resort theaters

Joining an already stellar April lineup at Fallsview Casino's new 5,000-seat Entertainment Centre and the intimate 1,500-seat Avalon Theatre, comedian Chelsea Handler will make audience members laugh April 24 at the former. With June just around the corner, the latter will welcome Randy Houser, Eli Young Band and Legends in Concert.

At Fallsview Casino's Entertainment Centre, for one-night-only, comedian Handler will showcase her comedic timing and stand-up comedy routine. She has millions of fans worldwide who love her talk shows, stand-up comedy and bestselling books.

Starting the month of June on the right note, Houser will bring his unique voice and stage presence to the Avalon Theatre on June 3. With multiple nominations for the Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Awards, and songwriting credits for major names such as Trace Adkins, Justin Moore and Chris Young, Houser has exuded positive vibes that have rippled through his four No. 1 hits, including “How Country Feels,” “Runnin' Outta Moonlight,” “Goodnight Kiss” and “Like a Cowboy.” Today, he continues to build on the organic feel of his material with “MAGNOLIA,” his fifth album and a return to the rootsy sound he grew up hearing and playing in the tiny town of Lake, Mississippi.

From June 9-18 at the Avalon Theatre, Legends in Concert will have audience members mesmerized by incredible costumes and award-winning performers. This show will showcase unbelievable tributes to Bono, Brooks and Dunn, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga and Neil Diamond.

On June 27, the Eli Young Band will showcase their unique modern country music at the Avalon Theatre. A true band of brothers who play their own instruments, write their own songs and cling fast to their Texas roots craft an organic live show highlighting their authentic sound. Fan-favorite songs include “Crazy Girl,” “Love Ain't,” “Drunk Last Night” and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.”
