'Jazz on 2nd Sundays' winter & spring 2019 concert lineup at Buffalo History Museum

The Buffalo History Museum and the Buffalo Jazz Collective present the winter/spring season of “Jazz on 2^nd Sundays.” The concert series showcases many of the most esteemed jazz musicians of the area, and celebrates the jazz heritage of Buffalo. Concerts will be held from 2:30-4 p.m. the second Sundays of January, February and March.

The lineup includes:

•UB Faculty Quartet | Jan. 12 | Tickets | The UB Faculty Quartet, including Bobby Militello, George Caldwell, Sabu Adeyola and John Bacon, combine their vast experience and expertise into a not-to-be missed jazz performance.

•Bill Todd Quartet | Feb. 9 | Tickets | Kenmore native alto saxophonist and member of the musical cast of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” Bill Todd, will be joined by Buffalo native drummer Carmen Intorre, bassist Alon Near, and pianist Bobby Jones.

•Brendan Lanighan Octet | March 8 | Tickets | Williamsville native trombonist and current master’s student at the Julliard School of Music, Brendan Lanighan leads a performance of his original arrangements with Elliot Scozzaro, CJ Zarniak, Ken Kuriscak, Mark Filsinger, Nick Weiser, Joseph Goehle and John Bacon.
