Gordon Lightfoot's '80 Years Strong' tour comes to Kleinhans

After more than 50 years of hit songmaking and international success, esteemed singer-songwriter and musician Gordon Lightfoot will perform in Western New York this fall. Lightfoot brings his “80 Years Strong” tour to Buffalo at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28.

Over his career, Lightfoot has crafted a vast song catalog of folk-pop hits, including “Early Morning Rain,” "If You Could Read My Mind," “Sundown” and “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.” 

Commemorating his milestone birthday in November, Lightfoot’s “80 Years Strong” tour will feature some of his most well-known hits, woven together with some of Lightfoot’s own behind-the-scenes stories and personal anecdotes.

Tickets for the event will go on sale beginning Friday, Aug. 2. Purchase them online at kleinhansbuffalo.org, in person at Kleinhans Music Hall, or by calling the box office at 716-885-5000.
