St. Patrick's Day celebrations to benefit Sabres Foundation

The Buffalo Sabres announced the team will sell St. Patrick’s Day-themed pucks prior to the game against the St. Louis Blues on Sunday at KeyBank Center, with all proceeds going directly to the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.

The special autographed pucks will be sold for $20 in the 100 Level concourse prior to the 5 p.m. game. Sabres wives and girlfriends will be on hand to assist with the sale.

The Sabres will also wear green St. Patrick’s Day-themed jerseys for warmups against St. Louis. The jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game at www.Sabres.com/auction with the auctions running until 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 26.

The Buffalo Sabres Foundation mission statement reads: “To identify and support local organizations which share our core objectives: serving children and military personnel, caring for the sick, assisting physically and mentally challenged athletes, and supporting youth hockey initiatives. By utilizing financial resources and community influence, the Buffalo Sabres Foundation assists these organizations and their beneficiaries in realizing their highest potential and succeeding in their endeavors.”
