Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra to perform 'Video Games Live' at Kleinhans on July 20

The world’s most popular video game symphonic program is coming to Buffalo during the BPO’s summer season. At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 20, the BPO will present “Video Games Live” at Kleinhans Music Hall.

More than 2 million people worldwide have seen this show, which incorporates video game footage, special effects, renowned internet solo musicians, and interactive elements. Respected video game composer Tommy Tallarico is the creator of the show, and serves as its host. He has written music for more than 300 games and released 15 recordings of music from video games, including five “Video Games Live” discs.

Tickets for this event will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday. Prices range from $29 to $59, with a platinum level at $79. Tickets are sold through the BPO box office at Kleinhans Music Hall, 3 Symphony Circle, Buffalo; by phone at 716-885-5000; or online at bpo.org.
