John Cleese coming to Kleinhans

Comedian and actor John Cleese will perform at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 20. His show is called "Why There is No Hope," and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday. Meet-and-greet tickets also are available. 
Cleese is best known for "Monty Python's Flying Circus," "Fawlty Towers" and "A Fish Called Wanda." He first made his mark as a member of the legendary Monty Python troupe in the 1960s and has gone on to write, produce, direct and star in some of the top comedic hits of the past 40 years, while receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay for "A Fish Called Wanda."
