Multi award-winning artist Francesca Battistelli is back and is ready to break up ... with fear. Her new song, aptly titled "The Breakup Song" (Curb | Word Entertainment) makes its debut today on all digital outlets. A music video for the song also just premiered on Apple Music
"The Breakup Song" is a powerful song that kicks fear to the curb. Co-written with MercyMe's Bart Millard and writer/producer David Garcia (Bebe Rexha, Florida Georgia Line, TobyMac), Battistelli says of her new single, "Fear is a universal struggle. We all deal with it in different ways, but it holds us back from truly living. I came to the point where I decided I wanted it out of my life for good. This song is my anthem, and I pray it encourages others to break up with fear, too."
After taking some much-deserved time off of the road with her husband and four children, the Grammy, GMA Dove and K-LOVE Fan Award winner could not be more excited to be sharing "The Breakup Song" with her fans. She is returning tonight to the Grand Ole Opry stage to share the song. She most recently appeared at the K-LOVE Fan Awards this past May where she took the stage with Cory Asbury to perform his hit song "Reckless Love."

Battistelli began writing and performing original songs at age 15. A childhood immersed in art, music, dance and theater prepared her for a future career on the stage. Since her 2008 Gold-certified debut, "My Paper Heart," Battistelli has propelled three consecutive studio projects to the top of Billboard's Christian albums chart, and notched seven No. 1 radio singles, including multiformat, 15-week chart-topper "Holy Spirit."
She has appeared on "Good Morning America" and "FOX & Friends" and has seen her music placed in a variety of high-profile films and television networks, such as ABC, NBC, FOX, TLC, MTV, Lifetime, TriStar Pictures' "Soul Surfer" and Columbia Pictures' trailer for "Julie and Julia." She also had a role in the film "Woodlawn."
Battistelli has total on-demand streams exceeding 228 million, YouTube views of 50 million, and total equivalent albums of 2 million.
