Sneak preview of new 'Sunday Night Football' show open featuring Carrie Underwood & 10 NFL players during Sunday's coverage
The San Francisco 49ers take on the Minnesota Vikings in NFL preseason action this Sunday, Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis - the site of NBC's Super Bowl LII broadcast exactly 23 Sundays later (Feb. 4, 2018). NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will live stream all NBC NFL games this season to desktops, tablets and connected TVs.
Calling 49ers-Vikings is Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his record 32nd season as the voice of the NFL's premier primetime package; 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth; and two-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya. Halftime will feature Mike Tirico's interview with new 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and GM John Lynch.
In addition, viewers will get a sneak preview of the new "Sunday Night Football" open, headlined by seven-time Grammy Award-winner and multiplatinum superstar artist Carrie Underwood and 10 NFL players.
