Album set for release fall 2017; first issue of comic book series out July 12
Electro-pop sensation Lights has released the video for "Giants," the lead single from her upcoming album "Skin&Earth." The video brings the album's companion comic book series to life, featuring Lights stepping into the dystopian world she's created, fully in character as her protagonist En, as she is followed and lured away by a mysterious spirit.
"Giants" is available everywhere now, with the first print issue of the monthly comic book series - "Skin&Earth #1" - on sale July 12 via Dynamite Entertainment.

In creating the immersive world of "Skin&Earth," Lights actively worked on both the album and comic series concurrently - letting the music inspire the comic and vice versa.
She explained, "I feel my whole life has lead up to a project like this. It's a complete convergence of everything I love - music, comics, post-apocalyptic romance, crystals, wine and powerful ladies, all perfectly entwined. It'll be by far my most carefree and fierce album yet. I think now, more than ever, people need a reason to listen to a whole record, and this is mine."
"Skin&Earth" will be the fourth studio album from the Canadian singer and songwriter, whose 2015 release, "Little Machines," won Lights her second Juno Award, for Best Pop Album of the Year. "Little Machines" featured the platinum-selling hit "Up We Go" and earned accolades from TIME, Idolator, Refinery29, Alternative Press, Noisey, NYLON, and more.
Lights has sold-out headline tours across North America and Europe and has played numerous festivals, including Coachella, Reading & Leeds, plus toured with OneRepublic, Tegan & Sara, Paramore and Kaskade.
Lights was recently announced as main support on tour with PVRIS this fall. For tickets and a full list of dates, see http://music.iamlights.com/tour/
