Buffalo Bills announce decision on Tyrod Taylor

Team announces agreement with QB Tyrod Taylor

The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday the team agreed to terms on a restructured contract for quarterback Tyrod Taylor.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott issued the following statement: "We are excited about the opportunity to keep Tyrod with the Bills. I've gotten a chance to know Tyrod and study him over the past several weeks and he is both a great person and competitor. (General Manager) Doug (Whaley) and I are confident this was best move for the Bills at this time."

In an interview posted on the Buffalo Bills press site, McDermott said, "I go back to the process and the methodical approach that we have been taking since day one back in January. We've looked, really, at every option and explored every opportunity, at this time, available to us and we just feel like this was the best move for the Bills at this time."
