Wheatfield Lions Mike and Joyce Aiken assisted the Olcott Lion's Club (site of the famous annual Polar Bear Swim) in their annual dice run. As a result of their participation, the Wheatfield Lions Club received a portion of the proceeds to be used to alleviate hunger in Niagara County.
The Wheatfield Lions gave $250 to the St. John's Community Care Pantry and $250 to Heart, Love, and Soul Food Pantry. The fundraiser showed what it means to be a Lion: crossing town lines, completing circles, and making good things happen.
