NT: Webster's Kitchen cuts ribbon to new facility

On Monday, Owner Barb Hughes cut the ribbon to the new Webster's Kitchen facility, 110 Webster St., North Tonawanda. The facility is an expansion from the Webster's Bistro just a few steps down the road and feature a home like kitchen and dining area for private parties.
The expansion is expected to house several cooking classes, as well as catering and will house grab and go foods prepared by the Webster's chefs that citizens can pick up for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The setting also included a coffee station for residents to come in and enjoy a cup of coffee.
In her opening remarks, Hughes stated her joy and expressed thanks for everyone who helped.
"Small business is so important in this community. A lot of people in this audience have worked for us, are part of our Webster's family and have decided to move to North Tonawanda and be here, so we are really excited about it and thank you all for celebrating with us today," she said.
The kitchen will give residents the opportunity to create dishes that are easy to make and nice to share at any table. Courses in the kitchen include basic kitchen skills (Jan. 11), soups (Jan. 18), salads (Jan. 25), entrees (Feb. 1), mother sauces (Feb. 8), and desserts and pastries (Jan. 27, Feb. 3, 10, 24). The price for individual cooking classes is $39 per person, plus tax. For the entire Thursday series of classes, it's $175 per person, plus tax.
