Residents of the Niagara-Wheatfield School District will have a chance to voice their opinion of the new version of the school district's 2012-13 budget on Wednesday, June 6, at the Adult Learning Center at the high school, 2292 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn.
District Clerk Robin Vertino said the N-W Board of Education will meet in executive session at 5 p.m. The public budget hearing is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., followed by the board's regular meeting.
The Board of Education was to meet May 30 (after the Tribune went to press) and was expected to adopt a much-reduced version of the $61.79 million budget that was defeated by voters earlier this month.
Voters will go to the polls again from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at the Adult Learning Center.
