Last Friday, for the first time in more than 20 years, the general public walked through the front doors of the historic Frontier House in Lewiston. The building's first-floor tenant, Fairbanks restaurant, hosted a soft opening for those who helped its proprietors, Daniel Hagen and Jake Strawser, craft their second restaurant. They also operate Billy Club in Buffalo.

Rosemary (nee Noonan) Dawdy of Youngstown passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, at the age of 94. Rosemary was born Feb. 15, 1931, in Niagara Falls, to Kathleen (Tough) and Carl Noonan. Rosemary's early life was spent in Niagara Falls, and the family's summer home in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada.
