Erie County announces schedule for Narcan use trainings in 2026

The Erie County Department of Health has scheduled monthly Narcan trainings for 2026. These free, virtual classes teach participants how and when to use Narcan to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and the history of the opioid epidemic, while increasing participants' understanding of substance use and substance use disorder.

Two young boys from Lewiston recently raised $600 for Niagara Hospice in memory of their grandmother. Andrew and Matthew Bagovich went door to door asking neighbors if they needed their leaves raked, and ended up taking care of about 10 yards. Several generous neighbors also made additional donations to support Niagara Hospice.
