An immediate search of the area commenced using Park Police drone, vessel, foot searches of the gorge, and visual searches from overlooks. Kathy Hochul announced New York has begun issuing more than $250 million in food assistance to an estimated 2.2 million low-income children as part of the 2025 summer Electronic Benefits Transfer program.
