The fourth annual "Country Jamboree" benefiting WNY Drummers For Homeless People Inc. will be held Sunday, April 27, at the Cove Entertainment Center, 4701 Transit Road, Depew. Doors open at noon with music starting at 1 p.m. with 104 North, Rockin' Robin, West of The Mark and Nashville North. Boot Angels will provide a line dancing demonstration at 3 p.m.

On April 17, officers were involved in a high-speed vehicle pursuit. At the conclusion of the pursuit, as officers approached the vehicle, the vehicle began to drive toward the officers. One officer discharged their firearm, striking the driver of the vehicle. The driver was transported to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
