HUD announces over $9 million for affordable housing in New York Tribal communities

On Friday, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner announced more than $9 million in Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) funding for eligible Native American Tribes and Tribally Designated Housing Entities (TDHEs) in New York to carry out affordable housing activities in Indian Country. Nationally, HUD awarded $1.1 billion in IHBG funding.
Gas prices creep up ahead of Memorial Day holiday

The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.18, up 4 cents from last Monday. One year ago, the price was $3.59. The New York state average is $3.13, up 4 cents from last Monday. A year ago, the NYS average was $3.70.
