Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced 30-year-old Dino A. Bruscia of Buffalo pleaded guilty this morning before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller to one count of arson in the third degree (class "C" felony). The defendant pleaded guilty to the only charge in the indictment against him ahead of a jury trial that was scheduled to begin next week.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Adrian Goudelock aka AD, aka Ace, aka Ace Boogs, 40, of Buffalo, who was convicted by a federal jury of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute, and distributing, five kilograms or more of cocaine, attempted possession and possession of five kilograms or more of cocaine, and money laundering conspiracy, was sentenced to serve 324 months in prison by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra Jr. Co-defendant Shamar Davis, who was also convicted at trial, was previously sentenced to serve 150 months in prison.

Higgins, People Inc. announce $2 million to expand telehealth for seniors & people with disabilities

Congressman Brian Higgins secured $2 million in the federal 2023 budget to expand and improve telehealth services for Western New York senior citizens, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people who are deaf and hard of hearing, and people with Alzheimer's. The funding will support People Inc.'s model addressing health equity among vulnerable populations.
