Higgins kicks-off next act as Shea's Performing Arts Center president & CEO

Longtime Western New York congressman Brian Higgins kicked off his first week as president and CEO of Shea's Performing Arts Center by laying out his plans and vision to build on the institution's success. The leadership role includes oversight of Shea's Performing Arts Center, a theater campus that includes Shea's Buffalo Theatre; Shea's 710 Theatre; and Shea's Smith Theatre.
NYS announces 2024 'Free Fishing Days'

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the six designated 2024 "Free Fishing Days" in New York will take place on: Feb. 17-18 (Presidents' Day weekend), June 29-30, Sept. 28 (National Hunting and Fishing Day) and Nov. 11 (Veterans Day). During these days, the fishing license requirement is waived for freshwater fishing on New York's waters.
