The classic animated Halloween-themed "Peanuts" special, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, as well as a bonus "Peanuts" cartoon in which Linus runs for class president, will air Thursday, Oct. 28 (8 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Season 10 of "The Biggest Loser" currently airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Sound the trumpets: The University of Maryland has won "CBS's Hawaii Five-0 Marching Band Mania" contest. Last night, their winning performance of the iconic "Hawaii Five-0" theme song was partially featured during an act break of the new hit CBS series. The school earned a prize of $25,000 toward their band program for their winning performance.

"Haven," Syfy's original series from leading independent producer Entertainment One (eOne), has been renewed for season two. The 13-episode season will commence production on location in Nova Scotia in spring 2011 with an eye toward a summer 2011 premiere.

NBC's top-rated summer series "America's Got Talent" begins its nationwide search for the hottest and most unique performers to compete in the upcoming sixth season of the talent competition series. The open auditions begin this weekend -- Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 9-10, in Denver. Later this year and in early 2011, the series will also be in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Seattle and Houston.
