CBS announced 16 of 18 castaways who will compete against each other on "Survivor: Redemption Island," when the Emmy Award-winning series returns for its 22nd season, Wednesday, Feb. 16 (8 p.m., ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Two of the 18 castaways, to be revealed later this week, are former castaways who will return to seek redemption.

"American Idol" is set to return for its 10th season with new judges, new talent and new surprises along the way. This season's judges - Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler - are a triple-threat of credibility, chemistry and talent. Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, whose career as a music producer and record executive is unparalleled, will serve as the in-house mentor. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the two-night season premiere kicks off with auditions from New York/New Jersey on Wednesday, Jan. 19 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) and New Orleans on Thursday, Jan. 20 (8-9 p.m. ET/PT) on FOX.

The highly successful musical theater apprenticeship program instituted last summer will be extended for Artpark's August production of "Fame - The Musical" this summer. The apprenticeship program provides an opportunity for up to eight high school music theater students of exceptional talent to participate in the company's Broadway musical production. Artpark will present the high energy musical that appropriately focuses on the hopes and aspirations of a group of students attending New York City's High School of Performing Arts, in the Mainstage Theater Aug. 12-18 for eight performances.

In last night's episode, the "Live to Dance" experts selected 17 of the 18 dance acts that will compete for the $500,000 prize on the new reality-competition series. The identity of the 18th cast member, who will be selected by fans through voting, will be announced during next week's episode airing on Wednesday, Jan. 12 (8 p.m. ET) on the CBS Television Network. Paula Abdul serves as executive producer, mentor and lead expert of the series.
