Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, 10,000 Maniacs to perform at free 'Saturdays on Old Falls Street'

"Saturdays on Old Falls Street," a two-week concert series, is coming to Old Falls Street, USA. The show on Saturday, July 20, features the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Then, on Saturday, July 27, the 10,000 Maniacs headline. Each show is free and open to the public and will be held from 5 to 10 p.m.

The BPO performance features the music of John Williams, Oscar- and Grammy-winning composer of "Superman," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial," "Star Wars," "Harry Potter" and many other notable Hollywood movies.

Paula Abdul to guest-judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance'

World-renowned choreographer and two-time Emmy Award winner Paula Abdul will join Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and FOX Sports broadcaster Erin Andrews as a guest judge on "So You Think You Can Dance" Tuesday, July 9 (8 p.m.), on FOX. Abdul will lend her expertise to critique and praise the dancers as they battle it out to remain in the competition.
Sabres Development Camp begins Wednesday

The Buffalo Sabres will hold their annual summer development camp from July 10-12 at First Niagara Center. This will mark the second year in a row the ice will be installed during the summer and the development camp will be held at the home of the Sabres. Camp will conclude with "Sabres Summer Fan Fest," a day of hockey-themed entertainment on Buffalo's waterfront, on July 12, beginning at 3 p.m.

CBS and Netflix have announced an extension of its multiyear licensing agreement for select CBS library content streamed instantly to Netflix customers. Under the revised deal, new titles such as "L.A. Complex," "4400" and "CSI: NY" will be available to Netflix subscribers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
