Empire State Development has announced New York is generating another record-breaking year for television production in the state just five months into 2014. A total of 23 pilots have filmed in New York, yielding an estimated $127 million in spending and an estimated 15,915 jobs, compared to 23 pilots filmed with an estimated $117 million in spending and an estimated 13,150 jobs in all of 2013.

Two unmistakable rock voices are headed to Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel this fall: Roger Hodgson - the legendary singer-songwriter, formerly of Supertramp - will perform at Seneca Niagara Events Center Friday, Nov. 7; and former Stone Temple Pilots' frontman Scott Weiland and his new band, The Wildabouts, will perform at the Bear's Den Showroom Friday, Sept. 5.

Mayor Robert G. Ortt has announced the lineup for the four-concert series "Cornerstone's Niagara River Rocks" at Gratwick Riverside Park. The featured bands scheduled for the 2014 concert series include Primus, Tom Cochrane with Kim Mitchell, The Fray and Dennis DeYoung.
Shows take place Sundays, June 22, July 20, July 27 and Aug. 24 at what is regarded as one of the most beautiful venues along the Niagara River.
