The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency board of directors today tabled an application for assistance from One Niagara LLC for a proposed $6 million renovation of the Niagara Falls landmark on 360 Rainbow Blvd. The board did agree to revisit the application in the future when the owners of the building could provide additional information.

Village of Lewiston to still hold rec center public forum

While the Village of Lewiston has tabled plans to build a new, multimillion-dollar recreation center, trustees have opted to go forward with a previously scheduled public forum. Those for and against the idea (or possible locations) are invited to attend a 6 p.m. meeting tonight in the Red Brick Municipal Building gym, 145 N. Fourth St.

Architect David Giusiana will present the plateau design, which was first unveiled on Friday. Mayor Terry Collesano will read a prepared statement, and trustees will add all comments to the public record.
