Ceretto announces scholarship opportunities for Italian-American students

Assemblyman John Ceretto is again accepting applications in his district office for New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators scholarships. The group will award four $1,500 scholarships - two academic and two athletic - to student applicants from around New York state.

Assemblyman John D. Ceretto, R-I-Lewiston, and Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak, D-Cheektowaga announced Wednesday the introduction of legislation that would reverse the state's Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law 13.07 as it pertains to Niagara Falls and Niagara Falls State Park. This measure currently gives the State Parks department the authority to restrict signs and advertising structures on an adjacent municipality within 500 feet of a state park.
